Q. What are the fees for this training? How should I make the payment?

Ans - Rs.15,000 all inclusive. You can send us the scanned copy of the registration form and cheque/DD in advance.

(Though we do not encourage, as a last option if time does not permit, we can collect cash/cheque as the venue also)

 

Q. Can you share the Trainer’s profile? What kind trainer we will have?

Ans - We cannot share the trainer’s profile with you. Trainer would be a customer facing expert of PostgreSQL with at least 5 years of hands on experience on it. He has conduced at least 20-25 trainings domestic as well as international.

 

Q. Will you make any accommodation arrangements for us if we are travelling to Chennai? Is accommodation also included in the training fee?

Ans - We can suggest you some hotels to stay in proximity of the training venue. Accommodation is not inclusive of the fees.

 

Q. Is certification also a part of this training?

Ans - At the end of the course we will provide certificate of participation.

Typically you get a free attempt for certification exam, associate level,within 3 months of the training completion date. It will be coordinated by EnterpriseDB. You can register yourself on our website -

3. What kind of material/ stationary will you provide?

Ans - Once you confirm the fill up the registration forms and payment is confirmed, we will send across a starters tool kit to you. It essentially contains all the course contents in brief as well as in detail, with an introduction to EnterpriseDB as a leading provider of products and services on PostgreSQL.

 

4. Do you also provide in house training/ company specific training?

Ans - Yes. In fact if you are looking forward to train more that 5 people,and a completely customizable course in terms of modules to be focussed on,we encourage the same. Depth and level of company specific focus is always recommended.

 

5. Can you give some discounts?/ Fees are too high for me.

Ans - We can give 10% discount for 3 and above people. For 5 and above people we can give maximum up to 20%.

(Note for us - Initially when we have more than week’s time for the training, we do not want to negotiate further. Once we have a weeks/ 5 day time for the training to start, we can start offering these discounts to a single candidate also. We shall start with 10%. We may not want to go below Rs. 12,000 per candidate).

 

6. Will trainer address our specific questions?

Ans - Yes. The coverage of the course is wide so most your questions will be automatically answered. In case of specific questions you may consider asking them during the breaks or after the completion of the 3 day course.

 

7. Is it only the theoretical training or hand on/ practical sessions? Will we be provided the necessary infrastructure?

Ans- More than 50% of the training is hands on/Practical sessions. Each participant will be provided with a workstation with a broadband internet access.

 

8. Which track will be covered? Developer or DBA?

Ans - DBA is the track we are covering in this training.
